KPLU-FM (NPR member station; Seattle, Wash.) As a “digital-first” reporter, cover youth and education issues and file stories across platforms — for radio, for KPLU.org and for QuirkseeMarch 2014 – present

StateImpact Indiana, WFIU and WTIU (NPR member station; Bloomington, Ind.) Launched a blog on education policy matters for a local-national reporting project, cultivating sources and followings through social media efforts. Enterprised radio stories on weekly deadlines for Indiana’s eight public radio stations. June 2011 – February 2014

KBIA-FM (NPR member station; Columbia, Mo.) Produced weekly show, Talking Politics, covering state and local policy issues. Enterprised radio stories for Missouri’s statewide network of public radio stations. Hosted live election coverage for local and 2010 midterm elections. Anchored live newscasts during All Things ConsideredMay 2008 – May 2011

KOMU-TV (NBC affiliate; Columbia, Mo.) Reported stories as a one-man band, shooting, writing and editing on daily deadlines for television and the web. Produced morning and 5 p.m. newscasts. Anchored weekend newscasts and filled in on mornings and weekdays. Set up live shots and operated an ENG van. September 2007 – May 2011

Reuters Television & Reuters Insider (Brussels, Belgium) Edit and shoot video as an intern for an international news agency, covering European elections and politics. May 2010 – July 2010

KTTC-TV (NBC affiliate; Rochester, Minn.) Shoot reporter packages, report original hard news, and edit video as an intern. July 2009 – August 2009
